The Youth are our future and we need your help to make them tomorrow’s leaders!

GGYA is an all-inclusive programme that offers our young people so many opportunities to broaden their horizons, better their lives and find a future that will not just provide for themselves, but also working towards a better community around them.

More specifically, partipants can expect to do the following:

  • learn new skills
  • develop hobbies into careers
  • develop love for counrty and environment
  • improve communication skills both with peers and the wider community
  • spend their free time productively and safely

The International Award has adopted the slogan “#WorldReady”. The purpose of this initiative is to make a bolder statement about how the Award programme prepares its young people for the world by engaging them in purposeful activities that helps them develop necessary skills and character to adjust to the changing world – whether they live in any region around the world, Africa, EMAS (Europe, Mediterranean, and Arab States), Asia Pacific, the Americas and beyond.

If you are a past supporter of the GGYA, we thank you for your commitment, and if you are a potential first-time donor, we encourage you to consider the value of investing in our youth.  We use the word community a lot and we teach our participants that they all play a valuable role in making our community better, and, as a result of this, the community will support them.  We therefore hope you will agree that there is value in fostering a better community.  Your support will help us to achieve this goal.

Support the Youth of Our Nation with a generous donation today.

The GGYA was initiated as a response to the growing interest of the community to make a positive impact on the young people in our society. The youth are our future!

The GGYA is organized on the basis of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Programme.
